Role Overview
Responsible for managing the complete marketing mix (4Ps) for an assigned business category. The role focuses on planning and execution aligned with sales, marketing, and support teams to drive category growth and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end category marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion)
- Develop and execute the category marketing calendar aligned with business goals
- New product launches and GTM plans
- Seasonal and key business campaigns
- Regional and HO-driven initiatives
- Plan and control category marketing budgets
- Drive channel and consumer development initiatives
- Support digital and e-commerce GTM activities
- Create clear communication and creative briefs
- Ensure consumer-focused positioning, journey mapping, and touchpoint - planning
- Align category actions with overall brand objectives
- Work closely with sales teams and channel partners
Qualification & Experience
- MBA in Marketing
- 4–5 years of experience in category management or marketing
- Exposure to both sales and marketing preferred
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of business, channels, and distribution
- Hands-on experience in product launches and integrated campaigns
- Digital and e-commerce marketing exposure
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Clear thinking with strong execution focus
