Description:
- Develop and assist site management in implementing company SHE Management System and project specific SHE Plan.
- Ensure SHE inspection of Work Area, Work Method, Men, Machine & Materials, and other tools and tackles done by contractors.
- Create SHE awareness through SHE induction.
- Assist site SSO to conduct tool box talk.
- Co-ordinate CM & Committee members in Group Risk Assessment & legal register preparation & its periodic review / updating and ensure the participation of worker representative.
- Conduct investigation of all near miss cases / LTI / Fatal / dangerous occurrences & recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Convene SHE Committee meeting & minute the proceedings for circulation & follow-up action.
- Advice & co-ordinate for implementation of Work Permit Systems.
- Plan procurement of PPE & safety devices for staff and inspect before use as per laid down norms.
- Report to Project / Construction Manager on all matters pertaining to status of SHE and promotional program at site level.
- Monitor administration of First Aid.
- In the event of an emergency, coordinate site management and implement emergency evacuation plan as agreed.
- Insist contractor to organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote SHE in the workplace.
- Prepare safety trainings based on co. safety Standards
