Postion - Design Draughtsman – Plumbing & Fire Fighting
CTC- 15 LPA
Location- Mumbai
Role Purpose
Responsible for detailed design and preparation of working drawings for Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems in commercial and light industrial projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Plumbing & Fire Fighting working drawings as per project specifications
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, and HVAC services
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of drawings
- Resolve technical issues with design and site teams
- Prepare multiservice coordination drawings
- Obtain approvals and issue drawings to site
- Maintain drawing records and daily work reports
- Support quality assurance and as-built drawings
- Identify additional works and report to Project Engineer
Technical Expertise
- Underground drainage & sewer systems
Soil and waste piping systems
- Hot & cold water supply systems
Rainwater drainage systems
- Fire protection systems
- LPG / SNG & fuel oil systems
- Pipe sizing and pump calculations
Key Skills
- Revit, AutoCAD, Microstation
- BIM tools: Navisworks / Revizto
- Revit family creation and modification
- Knowledge of international and GCC codes
- Strong coordination and drawing
interpretation skills
- Good communication in English
Education
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Certification in CAD/Revit
Plumbing / Fire Fighting training (preferred)
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience
- 4–5 years in Plumbing & Fire Fighting drawings
- Minimum 4 years of Revit experience
GCC/international project exposure preferred
- Site experience is an advantage
