Job Title: AGM – Plant Finance Controller
CTC- upto 34LPA
Location: Haridwar (Uttarakhand)
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: AVP – Finance & Accounts
Experience: 15–20 Years
Role Overview
The AGM – Plant Finance Controller will lead plant-level finance operations, capex management, and financial controls. The role involves budgeting, cost monitoring, compliance, and supporting management with financial insights for effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Plant Finance & Accounting
- Manage plant finance operations and accounting controls.
- Ensure timely cash flow planning and vendor payments.
- Oversee month-end closing activities and GL scrutiny.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, COA, and company policies.
Capex Management
- Monitor ongoing CAPEX projects and track budget vs actual utilization.
- Handle project capitalization, FAR review, and asset disposal.
- Manage CWIP and fixed asset lifecycle including tagging.
- Prepare CAPEX reports, fund flow, and utilization analysis.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Track OPEX & CAPEX performance and share dashboards with management.
- Conduct cost analysis and drive efficiency improvements.
- Perform overhead review and variance analysis.
- Control conversion costs and optimize expenses.
Inventory & Operations
- Oversee inventory management and DIN control.
- Manage scrap handling (process and capex related).
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and digitization.
Payables & Compliance
- Manage vendor payments including MSME, domestic, and import vendors.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, TCS, EPCG, and other regulations.
Audit & Governance
- Handle internal and external audits and stock verification.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with audit requirements.
CSR & Team Management
- Validate CSR project expenses as per agreements.
- Lead and manage plant finance team.
- Drive team performance and development.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com
- Experience: 15–20 years in plant finance and capex management
Key Skills
- Strong experience in plant finance and capex accounting
- Proficiency in SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and team management ability
- Knowledge of compliance and audit processes
