Job Title: Regional Finance Manager (AGM / DGM) – South
Location: Chennai
CTC: ₹50–60 LPA
Region: South India

Role Overview
The Regional Finance Manager will oversee finance operations, compliance, and financial control across multiple branches in the South region. The role involves managing audits, taxation, budgeting, and ensuring strong financial governance while supporting business performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to company ethics, governance policies, and financial controls.
- Manage timely submission of all statutory returns and compliance reports.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and weekly reporting.
- Ensure full legal compliance at branch offices and warehouses.

Audit & Controls
- Conduct internal audits of branches and ensure closure of audit observations.
- Support external auditors by providing required documentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of financial books and records.
- Monitor monthly and yearly financial closing processes.
Taxation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements including:
- GST
- Sales Tax
- CST
- Entry Tax
- Handle tax assessments and coordinate with authorities when required.

Budgeting & Financial Control
- Monitor and review budgets across SBUs, branches, and the region.
- Control regional expenses and ensure adherence to budget plans.
- Track financial performance and highlight variances.

Margin & Business Analysis
- Conduct margin analysis based on transfer pricing across SBUs and branches.
- Provide insights to improve profitability at branch and regional level.
Policy Implementation
- Ensure implementation of finance policies and guidelines across all branches.
- Monitor compliance with Head Office directives.

Receivables & Credit Control
- Review accounts receivable and monitor credit exposure.
- Oversee dealer and customer account reconciliations.

Accounting & Closures
- Review bank reconciliations for accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure timely booking of expenses and invoices.
- Oversee monthly closing activities including provisions and adjustments.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, and compliance
- Experience in multi-branch / regional finance management
- Strong analytical and budgeting skills
- Good understanding of working capital and receivables management
- Leadership and stakeholder management ability

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) / Equivalent
- Experience: Typically 10–15 years in finance roles with regional exposure
