Role Summary
The Manager – Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and strengthening customer relationships. The role involves market research, sales planning, and close coordination with internal teams to improve service delivery and profitability.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
-Generate and track daily sales, including forecasting and market analysis.
- Stay updated on market trends and provide insights to the business.
- Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve profitability and business processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular interactions and meetings.
- Provide monthly sales performance reports and track progress against targets.
- Conduct regular cost reviews for customer accounts and update pricing as required.
- Analyze Customer Market Share (CMS) and Revenue Market Share (RMS) to develop growth strategies.
- Update leadership on market changes related to pricing and product trends.
Drive initiatives to maintain and grow market share in changing market conditions.

- Monthly order generation and target achievement
- Order compliance and delivery timelines
- Customer complaint resolution
- Timely payment realization
- RFQ to business and PO conversion ratios
- Customer retention and churn rate
- Market share growth (CMS & RMS)

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: B.Tech / MBA / PGDM / CIPET / Diploma / Graduation
- Experience: 7–10 years overall
- Mandatory: 2–5 years experience in Business Development within the rubber industry

Technical Skills
- Strong experience in sales and marketing of rubber moulding products
- Knowledge of modern and traditional sales techniques
- Market analysis and competitive strategy understanding
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP systems (SAGE or similar)
- Understanding of digital and web-based marketing
