Job Title: Assistant Manager – Procurement
Department: Central Procurement Team (CPT)
Location: Mumbai (Head Office)
CTC: ₹9 LPA
Experience: 7–8 Years
Qualification: Engineering Degree / Diploma – Mechanical
Role Summary
The Assistant Manager – Procurement will manage sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and procurement operations for project requirements. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, and compliance with company procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Issue RFQs/RFIs to suppliers and collect techno-commercial quotations.
- Evaluate offers technically with internal departments and commercially as per SOP.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Convert purchase requests into purchase orders within defined timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation of POs, contracts, and procurement records.
- Support project teams with procurement inputs for change orders and cost estimation.
Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Track supplier performance related to delivery timelines and quality.
- Coordinate with project and branch procurement teams for smooth operations.

- Experience in MEP equipment procurement

- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, and SAP MM
- Strong coordination and communication skills
