Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Finance will handle financial operations, vendor payments, MIS reporting, and statutory compliance. The role requires coordination with internal teams and Head Office to ensure smooth finance processes and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities
- Process vendor payments and monitor outstanding balances
- Handle customer collections and reconciliation
- Maintain records of advances, deposits, and guarantees
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
- Prepare and post tax-related entries in accounting systems
- Support filing requirements and documentation
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial summaries
- Assist in budget tracking and variance analysis
- Support management with financial data and reports
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices and payments
- Handle vendor reconciliation and query resolution
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain financial accuracy
Audit & Controls
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain financial records as per company SOPs
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls
Key Skills
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience in MIS reporting and Excel analysis
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
